Description
Here we have a mono copy of Sergeant Pepper`s Lonely Hearts Club Band LP by The Beatles.Im not sure what issue this is except that I know its a sixties original (belonged to my uncle) and The Beatles albums are a minefield to get the info right so I will list all I can see and leave you Beatles fans to work it out.The gatefold sleeve is in nice condition.The flaws are two pinch creases near the right hand side of the front cover (about half an inch long),some minor edgewear on the top left hand corner,and a small pin hole through the middle of the word Lonely in the titles on the spine.The inner part of the sleeve has flapovers at the top.The record has its cut outs and the red and white inner.Both of these are in nice condition.The cut outs are unused so are near new,the inner has no creases or writing on.My uncle says he played the record about half a dozen times on his hi-fi (he had one even in the sixties) and the record has been handled carefully.Visually I can see one light mark across Lucy In The Sky on side one and one across Good Morning/Sgt Pepper (reprise) on side two.Other than that all other marks are feathering due to removel of the record from its inner are only visible under strong light.I played the album through and it plays nicely with very little background noise (not even where the marks are).The record has The Gramophone Co and Sold In The Uk text on the centre label,and the sleeve is Garrod And Lofthouse.The matrix numbers are :- XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1 I think thats all the info that I can tell you.If you need to ask any other questions about anything I have not thought dont hesitate to ask.
