This record is in very good condition. It has does have spindle marks visible on the labels, but no pen marks or other damage. The labels have all the information present as a 1st press should, i.e' Sold in the U.K', 'The Gramophone Co..', 'Made in Gt. Britain' etc.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have lots of light marks visible but nothing really deep or serious. There are a few marks that are just more than very light hairlines, but these are again soft and not sinister. The record is flat, has no blemishes and still has a lovely shine.
I play tested the record and it plays very well and would grade higher audibly. It lays flat and there is no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is great. Its crisp and on the whole clear. There is mild interference in the run in to track 1 on either side but this soon disappears when the music kicks in. There is also the very occasional click and pop, but nothing consistent or prolonged and I would say 95% of the music is clear, great audio. There are no skips, jumps, sticks or any other major musical problem, it is on the whole a very enjoyable audio experience.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. It does have wear to the edges and corners(pics), mainly the spine which has wear all along it. The spine is however sill strong and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is though creasing to the laminate on the front and back. It contains its original 'psychedelic' red inner in fair+ condition, as this has a split along the bottom edge and age related discolouring.
Also included is the original cut out insert which is in excellent+ condition with very little damage at all.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also come in a free, new protective plastic sleeve and will be sent within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
