THE BEATLES - SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND LP - Parlophone PMC 7027
An original 1967 UK first press mono LP on the yellow and black Parlophone label. The vinyl is very good plus to excellent. Very shiny but with a couple of slight inaudible marks that don't affect play.
The Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold picture sleeve is in superb condition with very little evidence of age and lovely colours. It has the rare boxed spine with the internal flipbacks when you open it up.
The red and white psychedelic "flame" inner sleeve is in very good condition with "Made in Great Britain Patents Applied For" text.
Matrix numbers (XEX.637) and (XEX.638)Comes with original cut outs insert in mint condition.
Label text reads Sold in UK and Made In Gt Britain with The Gramophone Co Ltd rim.

Excellent Condition(EXC) - Well cared for and play well. May click or have some background noise evident but nothing serious. Sleeves will be intact but may have a few edge scuffs or tiny creases. There are some minor creases on the spine and one small one on the front top left hand corner, probably from getting the record out of a rack. The back cover does not state Patent Pending, it just states 'Printed and made by Garrod Lofthouse Ltd'. The runout groove makings are - Side 1 XEX 637-1 and ATD, Side 2 XEX 638-1 and AOH. The spine is wide and flat on the outer edge and would have been wider when I first bought the album but inside spine has a crease, now that could be more to do with its age and storage
This is a very rare item and was purchased by myself in 1967 and has remained in my ownership since. I did look after all my records and can say that this is in excellent condition. If you are a serious collector of Beatles memorabilia this is definitely not to be missed. I have a low starting price to encourage serious bidders.
