CONDITION OF VINYL (visual grading):

SIDE ONE: VERY GOOD

SIDE TWO: VERY GOOD

Both sides are in very good condition. There are some light surface marks and several fine, light hairline scratches which do not affect playback. The record plays well throughout and sounds fantastic. There is some very light crackle and the occasional light click. Both Parlophone labels are in nice condition. There are some light spindle traces to both labels but nothing major. The “KT” tax code is embossed on the side two label.

CONDITION OF SLEEVE:

The fully laminated flipback gatefold sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse is in very good condition. This sleeve is the very rare misprint variant with ‘Fourth Proof’ written above George’s head on the flipback of the inner gatefold. “AR D 13217” is also written above Paul’s head. There is some very light creasing to the sleeve. The spine shows some light splitting and is slightly creased. This sleeve variant with the “Fourth Proof” is extremely rare.

CONDITION OF INNER SLEEVE: GOOD

The original red/white inner is present and is in good condition. There is a small split in the side and to the base of the sleeve. This inner is early as “PATENTS APPLIED FOR” text is present. I have included a new plain inner sleeve to protect the original.

CONDITION OF CUT-OUT INSERT: EXCELLENT

The cut-out insert is in great condition.

Comments:

This LP is essential for any Beatles fan or collector.  This is a great complete set that averages a grading of VG which is very respectable as originals in great condition are becoming even harder to find.  This item should please most collectors as it is the "Fourth Proof" sleeve variation which is very hard to find and is rarely on offer on eBay.

PACKAGING INFORMATION:

This record will be sent to you in a high quality cardboard record mailing envelope and it will be protected by two strong cardboard stiffeners in order to prevent unwanted bending during transportation. The record will be placed in a PVC outer sleeve and “sandwiched” between the cardboard stiffeners. The envelope will be sealed with strong brown tape.

Please bid with confidence. I will always aim for the record to reach you in the same condition in which it leaves me, especially since having had disappointing experiences receiving badly packaged records.
