A 1967 first UK pressing from the brilliant Beatles, who were prolific in the recording studio - and due to their then recent retirement from touring and playing live, they concentrated on recording.
This album is rated as their finest work ...and actually the finest by ANY artist!
However... not much by them was ever 'second rate' (proof of which can be heard on their singles 'b' sides!).
In the studio they were still the top band - the best in the world then, and now.
This FIRST UK STEREO EDITION is special and still an essential album if collecting The BEATLES original releases.
At this point STEREO was the prime format, and the separation and mix is wonderful. Perhaps the early albums were best listened to in mono, but for a recording with so much going on, it's STEREO that wins in my book.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades EXCELLENT+.
A very decent copy, no scratches and no problems. Top sheen and playing & sounding great. Lightest surface sleeve marks don't have any affect on playing, which is as it was in 1967 - superb!
Labels are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no stickers or tears.
Very few spindle lines visible.
The first print LAMINATED FLIPBACK GATEFOLD COVER is EXCELLENT, and has the 'Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.' credit.
The RED to WHITE CUSTOM INNER and gimmick cutouts card are included, clean and bright (a small seam split on the inner).
