Description
Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Original 1967 Mono Recording (PMC 7027).
I have owned this record from new and recall purchasing it from Maxwells Music in Kingston-upon-Thames.
I doubt that this record has been played above a half dozen times and then on state of the art equipment. It was my then practice to transfer recordings onto tape. I later acquired a copy on CD. I do recall playing the record in 1987 to mark the anniversary (It was twenty years ago today……….). I have just test played the record and can report that it plays straight through as if it were new.
The sleeve is in good condition, with the exception of some wear to the (narrow) spine. This was reinforced with acid free tape some time ago. The Peter Blake cutouts are present and in good order. Matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1.
The record will be securely packed within a twin wall corrugated board sandwich and despatched via Royal Mail 48 hour recorded delivery, unless otherwise requested.
