THE BEATLES - SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND LP
Original scarce 1st Pressing Yellow/black Parlophone label Matrixes: XEX 636-1 XEX 637-1 Mono PMC 7207 Comes with original red & white psychedelic inner + cut-outs insert
Vinyl visually grades VG with some signs of play, scuffs, light marks and one or two light scratches. Very cose to a VG+ but has one 'feelable' small scratch on Within Without You that plays though ok with crackle. No other really deep scratches or bad gouges. It still retains a nice amount of sheen. Record plays well on my Dual deck with the aforementioned crackle, plus some crackle here and there and at intros to side 1&2. It plays all the way through with but no jumps or heavy pops. Overall a fairly good listening experience for a 50 year old record. Labels grade VG+ with some spindle wear. Has the K T tax code on label Inner sleeve grades VG with some light creasing/ age related wear and 4" split along bottom, plus 3" split on one side. Cut-out insert grades EX Cover grades VG with storage wear, some wear and splitting along spine, plus couple of small tears on opening. Colours are still reasonably good.
If you are looking to obtain a copy of this much sought after 1st pressing, this could be considered a decent collection filler or a reasonable entry level copy.
