THE BEATLES - SGT PEPPER'S LP 1st UK 1967 Mono -1 -1 KT Inner PMC 7027
This is the original 1st UK Mono pressing with the earliest matrix codes XEX 937-1 XEX 938-1.
"All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd.". The label displays the "Sold in the U.K." statement and has the embossed KT tax code. It has the jingle on the run-out side 2.
The sleeve is the 1st UK laminated gatefold flipback printed by Garrod & Lofthouse
Gradings follow the Record Collector grading system. If there are any condition issues to report I add them next to the grading. Any play testing is done with an Ortofon Blue cartridge which always finds any sounding marks. Records are not cleaned unless specified, and should always be cleaned properly before play testing. Record - VG Cleaned and play tested in full a couple of times. Despite surface marks it doesn't play bad at all. Light background noise throughout and an occasional pop and tick. Spindle marks on labels. No warps.
Sleeve - VG+ Small surface loss top left front, crease to back cover, no splits
Original Patents Applied For inner sleeve - water stained on one half, creased at bottom, no splits, tears or writing
The record will be sent in the new poly-lined it was put in after cleaning. A pro clean wouldn't do any harm
Packaging
Records are carefully packed so they don't move about inside the packaging
1-2 LPs sent in new cardboard mailers with cardboard stiffeners
Approx 3-6 LPs sent in new cardboard cruciform mailers
Approx 6+ LPs sent in a strong cardboard box
Postage
UK Postage - any amount of 12 inch records is £4.50
International Postage - Standard Postage is airmail delivery. The Economy Postage option for outside Europe is delivery by sea and is much slower but much cheaper than airmail which is now very expensive outside Europe, especially to the USA.
