THE BEATLES - "SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" - VINYL LP
PARLOPHONE - MONO - PMC 7027 - 1967 - UK 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIX
Original 1967 UK mono 1st press with yellow/black Parlophone labels, 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' rim text, 'Sold In UK' label text and 1/1 matrix endings.
Rare early pressing with wide-spined laminated gatefold sleeve & 'Fools' inner sleeve. Comes complete with cut-out insert.

CONDITION (vinyl/cover)
EX (the labels are in bright clean condition and show just a small amount of spindlemarks; there are no stickers, tears or writing; the disc has a glossy shine and has no serious scratches, wear or damage; under strong angled light it shows faint sleeve removal scuffs and only one or two more noticeable light marks; I played the LP in full and can confirm it plays great throughout with generally superb clean clear audio, no major lessening of sound quality and no major surface noise that spoils the music; overall this would make a great playing-copy for the collection and sounds fantastic in the original mono mix as intended and overseen by The Beatles themselves)
/ NEAR MINT (1st issue gatefold sleeve with wide spine; a beautifully preserved example in fantastic near perfect condition with minimal signs of wear; the surfaces are glossy and flat and have no major creases or wear; the spine & edges are sharp, flat and unworn; all I can see is a couple of small creases coming from the edges and a bit of minor creasing along the spine inside the gatefold (caused by the much wider spine); overall this is a superb example of this iconic sleeve and coming with the rare 1st issue wider spine this is a true collector's item!)
The fragile Fools red/pink inner is in VG+ condition with light handling wear only and a 5" split in the middle of the bottom seam - there are no major creases, no stains, no tears and no writing.
