PMC 7027 - XEX.637-1 / XEX.638-1
THIS IS A 44 YEAR OLD ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING
"SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO" etc etc
"THE GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD." around the rim
Condition:
SLEEVE: VERY GOOD :- This is an original Garrod & Lofthouse "flipback" sleeve, in good condition for its age. There is some light scuffing to be found on all corners and along the spine. There is light creasing to the laminate along the top and bottom edges, and slightly heavier creasing along the spine. All seams are intact, and there is no unwanted writing or other damage. Overall, I would describe it as a very clean example - fairly rated as high as VERY GOOD.
The Cardboard Cut-outs ARE present and in MINT condition.
RECORD: VERY GOOD :- There are several minor surface scuffs and light hairlines, demonstrating that it has been well played. However, none of these has any adverse effect on playback. The labels are clean and free from writing or stickers, and spindle wear is light.
Personally played to check for sound & quality, and the original MONO sound is brilliant to listen to. Plays without skips, jumps or any distortion.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deteriation in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.Records advertised as unsealed or Unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticieable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
