COVER
This is the correct issued 1st PRESS Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., without PatentPending laminated flipback gatefold sleeve in EXCELLENT CONDITION.
This example is in very good clean condition with no tears, writing, marks etc. (see-pics) EXCELLENT CONDITION.
SPINE
The spine is narrow, well rounded and legible.
VINYL
Both sides still retain a glossy shine, in daylight and under bright light inspection both sides look VERY GOOD+ with nothing more than a couple of light scratches and wispy paper marks.
Upon playing both sides, the audio quality was as pleasing as the visual quality, bright, clear and sharp sound with only a couple of light clicks after the end of last song side 2. Otherwise this pressing has undistorted perfect audio, with deep mono, clear sound. There is certainly no dominant interference and nothing obtrusive in the playback, both visually and audibly. No scips or jumps! VERY GOOD+ CONDITION.
LABELS
Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition without any unwanted writing or stains but with several spindle trails on either side.
The KT tax code is present on side 1.
INNER SLEEVE
The correct 1st PRESS handle with original psychedelic red inner sleeve. Sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition without any writing or seam splits, but is slightly weared.
There is two places in the side edges with wear and tear.
CUT OUT
Dark green in EXCELLENT conditions.
Comments: overall a very nice UK 1st PRESS LP collectors Item.
