COVER
This is the correct issued 1st PRESS Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., with more the rare PatentPending laminated flipback gatefold sleeve. This example is in very good condition, with surface gloss/shine and clean condition, with no tears, writing, marks etc. At the corners and edges has a mild wear and laminate traces. The glossy surface is a little wavy. The spine is narrow, well shaped, strong, with small wear, that is well legible/readable, not too bad considering it`s 50 years old. Looks nice on the whole. (see-pics) VERY GOOD(+) CONDITION.
VINYL
Both sides still retain a glossy shine, in daylight and under bright light inspection both sides look very god with nothing more than a couple of light surface scratches (not deep, the most visible is shown in the attached picture here on side 2) and wispy paper marks. The vinyl record is stored in a separate sleeve of the original Psychedelic Red inner sleeve. It will be sent separately in additional plane sleeve. Side 1 is near EXCELLENT condition, Side 2 is VERY GOOD(+) condition.
Upon playing both sides, the audio quality was as pleasing as the visual quality, deep MONO bright, clear and sharp sound with only a couple of light clicks between some songs (more sensitive at the end of the last song on Side 2 - A Day In The Life. Otherwise this pressing has undistorted perfect audio, with deep mono, clear sound. There is certainly no dominant interference and nothing obtrusive in the playback, both visually and audibly. Without distortion sound vibrations, NO Repeats or Scips/Jumps! Because of the clicks and pop I would define it with one minus: EXCELLENT(-) SOUND CONDITION.
LABELS
Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition without any unwanted writing or stains but with several very light spindle trails on either side. The KT tax code is present on side 2.
INNER SLEEVE
The correct 1st PRESS handle with original Psychedelic Red inner sleeve. Sleeve is in near EXCELLENT(-) condition without any writing or seam splits, but is slightly weared and surface waves. There is ? light wear at the sleeve input side.
CUT-OUTS
Dark green original cut-outs, in EXCELLENT(-) conditions, due to slight wear at the edges of the storage over the years that are nearly 50, as you know.
Comments: overall a very nice UK 1st PRESS LP collectors Item. Pls., note, this is not mint or near mint record! Some would rate it as excellent, but my estimation is very good plus.

DISCS ARE ALWAYS REMOVED FROM THEIR COVERS AND HOUSED IN PROTECTIVE SLEEVES. THEY ARE THEN PLACED BETWEEN RIGID CARD STIFFERNERS AND THEN CAREFULLY PACKED IN STRONG PROFESSIONAL CUSTOM MADE BOXES. THUS GIVING MAXIMUM PROTECTION, SO YOU RECEIVE THE ITEM IN THE SAME CONDITION AS IT LEFT US.
