This copy is the rarest of all of the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band covers. Extremely rare and late final Mono issue with the cover adding a reference to "MACLEN MUSIC INC." and "NEMS". The text "All rights for the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Philippines controlled by Maclen Music Inc." is located in the lower right corner of the back cover. The text "©NEMS - NEMS ENTERPRISES LIMITED" runs vertically along the bottom right corner. It's almost impossible to find a transitional version Mono cover containing the "Maclen Music Inc." and "NEMS" credits as only a limited amount of these copies was manufactured right before the Mono covers went out of print. This copy contains another unique collectible feature, the vinyl doesn't have Side 1 with both labels being Side 2. This unique misprint makes this copy even more attractive for collectors. The gatefold cover includes an original red and white psychedelic inner sleeve and cardboard gimmick cut-outs insert. Original Capitol Records T-2835 catalog number Mono Jacksonville, Illinois labels with a unique bold font and multicolored spectrum ("Rainbow") band along the label's edge without the "subsidiary" print. Original 1st  Mono issue thick glossy Jacksonville vinyl pressing with the machine stamped first matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl. The full matrix numbers are as follows Side 1: MAS1 2653 G16 #2 0 / Side 2: MAS2 2653 F15 0. The machine stamped "0", identifies the pressing as a Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Jacksonville, Illinois issue.

POWERFUL MONO MIXES AND A STRONG VIBRANT SOUND THAT IS DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT FROM THE STEREO PRESSING 

Here Is A List Of Differences When Listening To The Mono Version (VS Stereo):

1. The funky backwards guitar part at the end of the opening song just before "Billy Shears".

2. The flanging/ADT effect on Ringo's voice during some chorus of "With A Little Help From My Friends".

3. The tripped out flanging vocals from the second verse out on "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds".

4. The slightly longer end of "Fixing A Hole" where McCartney is wailing up high.

5. The change in tone in "She's Leaving Home" in the mono version due to being sped up, not so dreary and long as in the Stereo version.

6. The timing on the effect of "Mr. Kite".

7. The extended louder laughter on "Within You Without You".

8. The louder backing "Oo-oo's" on "When I'Am 64".

9. The "Bleed Edit" found at the beginning of "Sgt. Pepper Reprise" you can hear the machine flutter as it comes out of pause.

10. The low volume mumbo jumbo during the extended bass drum raps at the beginning of "Sgt. Pepper Reprise".

11. The timing of the audiences is different on the "Reprise' section.

12. Paul McCartney ad libbing at the end. Paul sounds like he is saying" thank you very much good night now" or "bye, bye now"

 CONDITION:

COVER - EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) The cover is very clean. Some light ring wear and scuffing on the back cover. Light corner bumping with some wear. The spine contains a fully readable text. The gatefold interior is super clean.

VINYL - SIDE 2 (G16#2): VERY GOOD (VG) :  A light 2 inch scratch at 12 o'clock that can be slightly felt with a finger nail, along with a light non-feelable scuff at 4 o'clock . Some light marks, web hairlines and scuffs. SIDE 2 (F15): VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) This side is in better condition than the other one and doesn't have any feelable marks, having some light hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve.

LABELS - SIDE 2 (F15): NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Super clean wear-free label without any spindle marks SIDE 2 (G16#2): EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) Scuff-free, only containing some light spindle marks at 10 o'clock.

PSYCHEDELIC INNER SLEEVE - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) The sleeve doesn't have any splits, only having two staple holes at the bottom right corner.

 GIMMICK CUT-OUTS INSERT - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Impeccable condition.

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. THE REFRACTION OF THE LIGHT CREATES AN IMPRESSION THAT THE CENTER OF THE IDENTIFIER HAS A THROUGH HOLE. HOWEVER, IT'S NOT THE CASE AND THE WHITE SPOT IS A SIMPLE LIGHT REFRACTION.
