THE BEATLES-STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER/PENNY LANE
MEGA-RARE 1967 UK Parlophone 1st pressing 45 R 5570
with original limited edition picture sleeve!
with "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD" and "SOLD IN U.K." label text
Side One matrix: 7XCE18415-1
Side Two matrix: 7XCE18416-2
3 ROP & 4 GOA STAMPERS with KT in run-out grooves
All of the above info is secondary to the fact that this 45 is housed in the MEGA-RARE picture sleeve. Apparently only 250,000 of these were issued at the time, and the very nature of the extremely lightweight paper used, meant that few were destined to survive. These virtually never come up for sale and can be ranked alongside the "Nowhere Man" and "Yesterday" EPs as almost extinct!
Vinyl in EXCELLENT+ Condition
Picture sleeve in VERY GOOD(+) Condition
A beautiful copy, there is negligible sign of wear, the record playing superbly. The labels are in superb EX+ condition, as can be seen in the scans. The ELUSIVE sleeve is in very respectable VERY GOOD+ condition, making this a very collectable item indeed. If these sleeves ever do appear they are usually split as they really were too lightweight to hold a heavy, razor-sharp 45 vinyl. This sleeve displays none of these splits, although there is rubbing, light discoloration and wrinkling. Nevertheless, it is highly collectable and a prized addition to any Beatles/60s collection.
AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR YOUR BEATLES COLLECTION!

this 45 shall be sent removed from the picture sleeve and in a plain white sleeve to guard against damaging the picture sleeve.
