**SUPER RARE GREEN £ ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS PICTURE SLEEVE. FULLY TESTED. VG+ AUDIO**

The initial 250,000 copies of the single were packaged with a wavy cut at top full-colour sleeve. Two variants of the sleeve exist; with a green Parlophone logo, and a black one. It’s not known how many were produced with the much rarer *GREEN* logo, but judging by how infrequently they’re seen, probably very few.
This is an original first pressing from 1967, with black label and silver print. (P) 1967 publishing year, with the beginning of the perimeter print written as “GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD”, and “SOLD IN U.K.” text. KT tax code, with Side A matrix numbers 7XCE 18415-1, Side B 7XCE 18416-1 (or -2). 1 Mother to Side 1.
The vinyl is in Very Good Plus (VG+) grading, while the very rarely seen *GREEN £ SIGN PAPER SLEEVE is in Very Good (VG).
FULLY PLAY TESTED. VG+ AUDIO BOTH SIDES.
AUDIO: VG+.
Both sides have relatively quiet run-ins (just a little surface noise), and very little surface noise or pops and clicks during playback.
VISUAL: VG+
Light handling marks/hairlines to both sides.
LABELS: VG+
Penny Lane. Clean and graffiti free. A little spindle ware, and to centre hole.
Strawberry Fields. KT tax code to centre. Some ware and a little light scuffing.

SLEEVE (GREEN £) VG
The rare *GREEN* £ logo picture sleeve has some obvious ware. The sleeves are notoriously thin and fragile, and there is creasing and yellowing evident, and a little lifting to the flip-back sleeve. A small seam split to bottom edge. No graffiti, and a very clean *£* logo to rear.
