Description

THE BEATLES Sergeant Pepper First pressing Mono  1967 Excellent+

The fully laminated centerfold sleeve has the wide spine cover of PMC 7027 issued in 1967 The sleeve is very good though there is some slight creasing of the corners and above Dylan,   the inner sleeve is white, untorn but with creased corners The card insert is mint.
This record really is MONO and the FIRST pressing.
Side One  MONO Matrix XEX 637-1
There are no visible vinyl marks, some slight spindle marks, very carefully looked after. I have played the LP and there is slight surface noise at the beginning and in very quiet passages There is a little warping at the edge but certainly nothing to adversely affect the tone arm or reproduction.

Side Two  MONO Matrix XEX 638-1
Cosmetic grading the same as side 1, sound grading the same too.

Please Note BOTH the stamper codes are 1
The story of these initial issues is brilliantly told by: http://thebeatles-collection.com/wordpress/?s=pepper+mono a very good read.
Returns are accepted for a refund though not for the return postage ( unless I am wrong in my description in a big way, hopefully not, please see my feedback)
