Description
The Beatles, Sergeant Pepper LP. UK Parlophone Records PMC 7027 MONO FIRST PRESSING, 1967, with disc matrix numbers XEX 637-1 / 638-1 & 'K.T.' side two label tax code stamp ......includes the original red/white 'wavy' inner bag, which has a bottom seam split & some wear at the opening edge otherwise in decent condition (sorry, no 'cutouts' insert with this copy). The FULLY LAMINATED gatefold sleeve seems to have been slightly misprinted, with a yellow band on the top edge..... otherwise in decent condition, with just slight spine rubbing - no tears, writing or seam splits, partly clear spine text, a very clean inside cover (with top 'flipback') & the back cover with lyrics is also very clean.….… there is slight sticker residue on side one label, otherwise both labels are very clean ...… the disc has some marking, nothing heavy - plays fine, with background crackle more evident in quieter parts & just one slight skip near the beginning of side two, still very listenable ....... a very acceptable & playable original UK copy.
