Description
PLEASE READ PAYMENT AND DELIVERY DETAILS CAREFULLY. IMPORTANT.
PLEASE NOTE, AS REGULAR BUYERS ARE AWARE, I PLAY TEST ALMOST ALL MY RECORDS. MY 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK IS TESTAMENT TO MY GRADINGS. HOWEVER, THIS WAS ONE OF A BUNDLE OF RECORDS RECENTLY OBTAINED, WHICH IVE NOT HAD TIME TO PLAY, AND DOES NOT LOOK IN THE BEST CONDITION. IT HAS SOME MARKS/SCRATCHES, THOUGH NOTHING DEEP/FEELABLE (see photos). THUS, IT IS BOUGHT AS SEEN. NO RETURNS.
THE BEATLES: Sgt. Peppers LHCB. PMC 7027. XEX 637-1 & 638-1. G&L sleeve is VG+. Earliest possible matrix.
VINYL APPEARANCE. VG+
Both sides have marks/scratches/hairlines. Nothing deep or feelable. Slightly more noticeable marks across early tracks side 1, and across tracks 2&3 side 2. (see last 2 photos). They may or may not affect the audio.
LABELS. EXCELLENT.
Side 1.
Generally clean, bright and graffiti free, with relatively minor spindle ware.
Side 2.
As side 1, perhaps a little cleaner.
KT embossed tax code.
SLEEVE. VG+ (Garrod & Lofthouse)
The front side has some creasing, and an indentation/scuff to top left corner. (see photo). Also some ware/scuffing to the spine.
The rear panel is VG++, with very little ware; just a little light creasing near the spine.
The inner gatefold is superb. Literally no ware at all. Bright, clean, glossy. Even the spine, notorious for ware, is excellent.
INNER. EXCELLENT.
Plain white. No rips, tares or seam splits.

So in conclusion, this is an original 1st mono press of ‘Pepper’, with earliest possible matrix. It hasn’t been play tested, and I’ve pointed out any flaws, and shown the most prominent marks on the photos. Thus, it’s bought as seen, with no returns.
Please view all photos, as they form part of the description.
