CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY
SLEEVE: EX/EXCELLENT(+); the sleeve is a beautiful example and must grade as one of the better that I have had. Some very slight, isolated laminate creasing to the exterior. The interior centrefold has little to fault and is very close to Mint on its own. Some corner 'bumping to the spine edges. The spine shows some light wear and laminate lift/peel but all text is still clearly legible. Looks great overall.INSERT & INNER: The original 'cut out' card insert is in NEAR MINT condition with almost nothing to fault at all.
The original psychedelic inner is a superb example and rates as one of the best that I have seen; EXCELLENT. Just some very light signs of handling + a tiny bit of isolated age browning. No rips, splits or tears. Looks fantastic.
AUDIO Overall graded as EXCELLENT(-); this has been completely play graded from start to finish at volume and both sides played through really well without jumping or sticking. The clarity of the audio was super throughout; bright and crisp without a hint of distortion or any evidence of groove wear at all.
There was a little isolated crackle here and there, but absolutely nothing constant or intrusive. The only exceptions to this were 'She's Leaving Home' and 'Mr Kite'. Some pops in 'Within You, Without You'.
Overall though, the record provided a very enjoyable listen indeed.
VINYL (VISUAL): VERY GOOD(+); the heavyweight vinyl has retained a nice shine with just light superficial marks/hairlines noticeable under natural daylight + a couple of very tiny light scratches. Bright light revealed some light scuffing and further wispy sleeve removal type marks. The record looks very nice overall.
Both labels look great. Bright and clean with no writing, rips or tears and just some light spindle marking consistent with the record having been played.

GRADING
Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.
Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.
I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.
I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.
For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.
As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
