This MONO album was released on the PARLOPHONE records label (UK) in 1967 with reference number PMC 7027
Side One: Matrix detail: XEX 637 - 1
Mother Stampers: 4 ARP
Side Two: Matrix detail: XEX 638 - 1
Mother Stampers: 3 RLH
Tax detail: the KT tax code is embossed to the centre label on Side One only.
From my research I believe this record to be a very rare early pressing example.
It has the 'SOLD IN THE U.K.' text to the centre label and 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD'. and 'MADE IN GT BRITAIN' text to the label edge.
The fully laminated gatefold cover has the flip-back on the inside and shows the 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE LTD Patents Pending' detail to the reverse.

DISC: The disc is bright, clean and glossy.
Using a bright light (180 Lumens) with the naked eye there are no visible marks
I have played both sides of this disc on my SONY deck. It plays without fault - there are no sticks or jumps and no background noise.
COVER: The fully laminated gatefold cover has no noticeable storage wear there are no breaks to the laminate - it is a wonderful example! Please check out the photographs.
I grade the cover as EX and consider it to be one of the best examples I have seen.
INNER SLEEVE: The original red coloured (psychedelic) inner sleeve is crisp and in good condition with no splits or tears.
INNER: The original 'PETER BLAKE' card Sgt Pepper cut-out is complete and in excellent condition.

The album 'SGT PEPPERS' was released in the UK on 26th May 1967. It was The Beatles eighth studio album and spent 27 weeks at the number one spot in the UK album charts.

Condition gradings:
M - Mint - In perfect/As new condition
EX - Excellent - Sleeve and vinyl is used and shows only very minor (if any) signs of wear.
VG - Very Good - Sleeve will have obvious signs of wear/damage. Vinyl will have obvious signs of wear but will play with no major faults (although there may be some surface noise).
G - Good - Sleeve will have significant wear/damage. Vinyl will have a fair amount of surface damage however it will play with no sticks or jumps but will have significant surface noise
F - Fair - Sleeve will be badly damaged. Vinyl will have significant damage and may play with surface noise and may jump/stick etc.
+ & - may be used if an item is between standard gradings.
