The Beatles / Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Capitol Records T-2653 (US)(1967) ...This auction is for an original issue, Monaural Record on (US) vinyl. Mono pressings on vinyl are getting very hard to find anymore.

   It's possible to argue that there are better Beatles albums, yet no album is as historically important as this. After Sgt. Pepper, there were no rules to follow -- rock and pop bands could try anything, for better or worse. Ironically, few tried to achieve the sweeping, all-encompassing embrace of music as the Beatles did here.

The Record and Gatefold Cover (includes cut-out insert) are in fairly nice (Very Good+) condition. They both show visible wear and aging (record sounds nice).
