The vinyl is VG+ condition
Surface of disc has some very light scuffs and very light scratches - couple more visible but none are detectable to the touch.  Wax has a generally clean shine.  Again, no scratches or marks can be felt by the touch.  The sound is loud and clear with light background / surface noise.  Clean labels on 'I'll Get You' side, 'She Loves You' side has a play sticker.  Overall, this is a nice record from the Fab 4's early days.  This is both a visual as well as a play grade.  No skips w/ continuous playback!  Check out a sample direct from playback.

The cover is in VG condition
Picture sleeve is original.  There is general wear to the sleeve with some light ring wear, creasing splitting on the sides, small tears across the mouth's opening as shown in the pictures.  There is tape on both sides of the sleeve and initials written on one side.  I've taken quite a few pictures to give the best idea as possible.

Again, this is an early one and relatively rare though not scarce... not in top condition but definitely acceptable for any collection, especially as a placeholder until a mint copy comes along.

GRADING:
I will have the Goldmine Standard in mind when grading but will be taking plenty of pictures to represent the records condition. Any items having multiple condition grades: First grade is vinyl, second is the sleeve.

Here are grading abbreviations I may use:

"Goldmine Standard" grading:
SS = Still Sealed
Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description.

NM- = Near Mint Minus
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever.

VG+ = Very Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
- Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

Jackson Heights were an English rock band, led by bassist and vocalist Lee Jackson, that ran from 1970 to 1973. Other players included Brian Chatton (born Brian Charles Chatton, 19 July 1948, Bolton, Lancashire), Dave Watts (ex-Tornados; from Bromley, Kent) playing keyboards and King Crimson's drummers Michael Giles and Ian Wallace.

Their debut album King Progress included a reworking of "The Cry Of Eugene", a track originally by The Nice on their first album, The Thoughts of Emerlist Davjack, as well as original material including "Doubting Thomas" and "Insomnia".

Vocalist John McBurnie would later work with Patrick Moraz, who was in Refugee with Jackson.
