Description
Welcome to my vinyl auctions.
Over a period of several years I am slowly listing a remarkable record collection for auction on ebay. This collection belonged to my friend Brian, one of the most discerning record collectors I have ever known. Brian started buying records in 1966 when he was a teenager. His infatuation for vinyl developed into a career and he eventually ended up working for RCA records and CBS/Sony records as a disc mastering engineer from 1977 to 1989. Brian’s not with us anymore, and I’m making good on my promise to him to sell his records in lovingly-prepared auctions which reflect the love he had for his vast collection. The proceeds go to his family. Brian’s collection is the kind that rarely comes up for sale. He had great taste in music and collected vinyl seriously for 40 years, taking superb care of his collection.
I grade records conservatively to ensure your satisfaction as the buyer. All records will be shipped promptly in reinforced record-mailing boxes.
Artist: The Beatles
Title: Souvenir Of Their Visit To America
Country of Issue: U.S.A.
Year of Issue: 1964
Catalogue Number: VJ EP 1-903 (mono)
Matrix side one: 64-3915-1
Matrix side two: 64-3916-2
Condition of sleeve: VG+. The only real blemish is an area of wear on the bottom edge which you can see in detail in the final picture. The wear does go all the way through and is about an inch and a half wide. Without this, the sleeve would be near mint.
Condition of record: NM with just a couple of incredibly faint marks which don't affect play.
Further Notes: Vee Jay 'oval' label variation. This is the nicest copy of this record I have ever seen. It would be hard to improve upon.
I only accept paypal. If you wish to pay by any other means, please contact me prior to bidding.
IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTE:
Shipping this 45 within North America will be $7, internationally it will be $12. If you want it shipped with tracking and insurance, it will be a little more. We can discuss the options after you win the record.
