THE BEATLES Strawberry Fields Forever UK 1967 1st Press 45 + Picture Sleeve EX+
This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks
Details:- . ORIGINAL 1967 1st UK PRESSING OF THE BEATLES 'STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER' This EXCELLENT UK 1st pressing dates from its initial February 1967 release and is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5570.
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and have upper case 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'Penny Lane' label and in both run-outs.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18415-1 & 7XCE 18416-2
Stamper codes: 1/RD & 4/AT
Vinyl Condition:- EX+ Lovely condition, gleaming vinyl. I can see only one very faint surface mark which is just visible when the record is viewed at an angle under bright light. Anything else is nothing more than very faint sleeve brushings and barely visible. (Fully test played before this auction)
Label Condition:- NEAR NINT. Great condition with only one very faint small spindle mark Sleeve Condition;- NEAR EX. Very nice condition with just some very light creasing. I always reduce postage on multiple items. Each additional item will only be charged 50% the original postage cost worldwide. Grading Abbreviations
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
