Description

The Beatles White Album First Mono Press No. 0603653.


This is the first pressing in mono which was released in November 1968.


Condition.


This double album set has been well played. The vinyl has lots of fine marks but plays well. There's  definite crackle in the quieter parts but the mono sound is crisp and punchy in the loud sections. It's a VG because there's no skipping or anything tragic but there is a fair amount of surface noise. It would benefit from a careful clean.


The top loading cover is worn but complete. There's a large tear on the spine (see last photo) and other general wear. Some yellowing about the edges. The embossed lettering is nice as is the number.


The original black inner sleeves are present but are pretty shabby. The records are now in alternate inner sleeves.


No photos or poster.


But it's a real mono first press Beatles 'White Album'. Low start price due to condition. This is an auction only. No buy it now. Examine photos carefully.
