Very early original true 1st US pressing of The Beatles' album-compilation The Early Beatles released by Capitol Records in 1965. East Coast release, Capitol Records, Scranton, Pennsylvania Pressing Plant, containing a very rare unique machine stamped Anvil / Lathe symbol in the trail-off vinyl on both sides, which makes this copy very rare as this symbol can be found only on the very early limited 1st pressings. The Anvil / Lathe symbol was always used on the true 1st pressings of The Early Beatles instead of the IAM in Triangle symbol, which is very mysterious, because the Anvil / Lathe symbol was used by the Capitol Records Scranton Pressing Plant from 1949 to 1963 and was then replaced by a union symbol, International Association of Machinists, IAM in Triangle. Therefore, the very early 1st pressings of The Early Beatles should contain the IAM in Triangle symbol, but for some reasons, the Anvil / Lathe symbol was used. This very early true 1st pressing copy comes with the original orange-red "Teen Set" inner sleeve, advertising a special club for teens, present only on the very early true 1st pressings of this album as it was quickly replaced with the olive "Capitol's New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo" two month after the album's release date. Original thick cardboard single type paste over cover with the RIAA 3 factory designator, at the bottom right corner of the back cover, identifying the pressing as a Capitol Records, Scranton, Pennsylvania Pressing Plant issue. Original Capitol Records T-2309 mono catalog number Keystone print black 01A label with a multicolored spectrum ("Rainbow") band along the label's edge without the "subsidiary" print. Original very early thick heavyweight vinyl pressing with the machine stamped matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl: SIDE 1 - T1-2309-G2 Anvil / Lathe Symbol / SIDE 2 - T2-2309-G2 Anvil / Lathe Symbol.
CONDITION:
COVER: NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) The cover remains it in its fully intact original shrink wrap with two breathe holes on left of the front cover. The shrink wrap has preserved the cover very well as it remains very clean and without any hints of ring wear. The cover has some light bumping to the top and bottom corners along with some insignificant discoloration on the back cover along the mouth. The cover doesn't have any wear, splits or tears. Rigid spine contains a fully readable text.
VINYL: VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++) The glossy vinyl has some very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve. None of the marks can be felt with a fingernail.
LABELS: SIDE 1 - NEAR MINT (NM) / SIDE 2 - EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) The labels are super clean without any spindle marks with Side 2 having some light scuffing from a sticker, however, there is no sticky residue.
ORANGE-RED CAPITOL RECORDS "TEEN SET" INNER SLEEVE: NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) The inner sleeve is in great shape without having any splits or tears.
ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS! USPS can no longer accept or deliver international mail temporary to several countries due to the service impacts. Please pay attention that we DON'T ship to Russia and Germany. No exceptions. We'll immediately cancel the transaction if our policy conditions are violated. Sorry about that.
POLICY:
Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid.
