AN ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE 1968 RARE *mono* NUMBERED 0033438 WHITE ALBUM COMPLETE WITH ALL ORIGINAL 1968 INSERTS.

This is the first issue of The Beatles 1968 Rare **mono** White Album double LP set complete with all inserts.

Considered to be one of most Influential and Iconic Albums of the 20th Century, this is an original 1968 UK Apple Records ** FIRST ISSUE MONO** two vinyl LP Set for The Beatles 1968 White Album, entitled ‘The BEATLES’.

This Set is 100% COMPLETE, and has a top opening, Gatefold Sleeve with, two original UK first issue mono LPs, Four original Full Colour glossy photographs – one of each Beatle, an original Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric Poster printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, Two original 1968 Black inner record bags. The set is housed within its original, First Issue, Fully Laminated top opening numbered, No.0033438, Gatefold Sleeve.

LP Description/Condition:

The two First Issue mono Vinyl LPs are on the traditional Dark Green Apple label, all with the ‘Sold in UK label text, sides 1 & 2 record labels are **WITH** the, E.M.I. Recording Reference, and sides 3 & 4 record labels are **WITHOUT** the, E.M.I. Recording Reference, and all four sides are with ‘Mfd. In UK’ label text.

All four record labels in superb Excellent condition, clean, undamaged record labels, clear Black Print, showing several signs of play to the centre spindle holes on each label.

Disc 1, Side 1 matrix XEX 709-1 & Side 2: XEX 710-1.
Disc 1, Side 1 stampers: 7 AH & Side 2 stampers are: 7 MP.
Disc 2, Side 3 matrix: XEX 711-1 & Side 4: XEX 712-1.
Disc 2, Side 3 stampers: 1 RG & Side 4 stampers: 1 GT.

All four sides of the vinyl discs are in Very Good Plus condition, the vinyl discs show some surface hairline scratches, none of which are feelable.

Having played both LPs, all four sides play well throughout all the tracks, there are no skips or distortion, just light background crackle.

Each LP comes in their original Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags which are in Excellent condition, the bags do have some light inevitable creasing and one bag has a 2" seam split to the bottom edge.

….And are housed in it’s original Garrod and Lofthouse Gatefold Sleeve. This first issue sleeve is Top Opening and numbered 0033438, printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. The wording ‘The BEATLES’ is embossed and printed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal Black and White Images of each of Beatle, together with the song track listing.

The Original Fully Laminated Gatefold sleeve with a regular spine edge is in overall Excellent condition. The sleeve is firm, clean, and glossy, with just light LP storage signs, and a couple of laminate pinches.

The inner gatefold of the sleeve is in superb condition with mild age toning, the reverse panel shows mild LP storage. The rounded spine edge shows a little age toning and NO laminate flaking, the printed wording ‘The Beatles, Stereo PCS 7067-8, Mono PMC 7067-8‘is legible. There are NO seam splits to any of the edges, and just mild corner bumps.

The reverse of the sleeve has a small circular stain at the bottom.

There are Four original Full Colour Glossy Photographs – one of each Beatle - All four Photographs are all in Near Mint condition, with NO tearing or pinholes.

And includes an original Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric/Picture Poster printed by Garrod and Lofthouse which is in undamaged Excellent condition, the poster has no pin holes or tears.

Beatles White Albums in this condition rarely come onto the market, this one is a nice example. Guaranteed 100% Original with all Original inserts.
