This is the first issue of The Beatles 1968 **mono** White Album double LP set complete with all inserts.

Considered to be one of most Influential and Iconic Albums of the 20th Century, this is an original and 100% complete 1968 UK Apple Records ** FIRST ISSUE MONO** two vinyl LP Set for The Beatles 1968 White Album, entitled ‘The BEATLES’.

This Set is 100% complete, and has a superb top opening, undamaged Gatefold Sleeve with, two original UK first issue mono LPs, Four original Full Colour Glossy Photographs – one of each Beatle, an original Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric/Picture Poster printed by Garrod and Lofthouse 1968, Two original 1968 Black Die-Cut inner record bags. The set is housed within its original and superb, First Issue, Fully Laminated top opening unique numbered, 0127127, Gatefold Sleeve.

Description/Condition:

The two First Issue mono Vinyl LPs are on the traditional Dark Green Apple Record labels, all with the ‘Sold in UK label text, all four sides of the record labels have, An E.M.I. Recording Reference, and with ‘Mfd. In UK’ label text to all four record labels.

All four record labels in undamaged Excellent Plus condition, superb, record labels with clear Black Print, showing a few signs of play to the centre spindle holes on each label.

Disc 1, Side 1 matrix XEX 709-1 & Side 2: XEX 710-1.
Disc 2, Side 3 matrix: XEX 711-1 & Side 4: XEX 712-1.
Disc 1, Side 1 Mother stampers: 3 MD & Side 2 stampers 26 PA.
Disc 2, Side 3 Mother stampers: 3 TA & Side 4 stampers 8 GMD.

There is a **KT** Tax Code embossed on the centre of the side 1 Record Label, and a **KJT** Tax Code on the centre of the side 4 record label.

All four sides of the vinyl discs are in Excellent Plus condition, all 4 sides of the LPs are free from deep scratches and scuffs and still retain their gloss shine, all that is visible are a couple of non feelable, non sounding, surface hairlines.

The sound quality of the LPs is simply stunning both LPs play with a beautiful sound quality from beginning to end. Each track play’s without crackle, pops, skips and distortion.

Each vinyl LP come in their original Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags which are in undamaged, Excellent condition, the bags do have some light inevitable creasing, but no tears.

And are housed in their original and superb Garrod and Lofthouse Gatefold Sleeve. This first issue sleeve is Top Opening and has a repeated number 0127127, printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. The wording ‘The BEATLES’ is embossed and printed a little way up above the number.

The Original Fully Laminated Gatefold sleeve is in superb Excellent condition. The sleeve is firm, clean, and glossy, with a clear number with no creases, and just mild record indentation and just a little very mild age toning.

The inner gatefold section of the sleeve opens out to reveal Black and White Images of each of Beatle, together with the song track listing.

is in beautiful Excellent Plus condition, beautifully preserved condition.

The reverse panel of the sleeve is also undamaged and shows only mild LP storage.

The spine edge of the sleeve is firm, with just light age toning, the printed wording ‘The Beatles, Stereo PCS 7067-8, Mono PMC 7067-8‘ are legible. There are NO seam splits to any of the edges, there are just mild corner bumps.

There are Four original Full Colour Glossy Photographs – one of each Beatle - All four Photographs are all in Mint Minus condition, with NO tearing or pinholes.

And includes an original Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric/Picture Poster printed by Garrod and Lofthouse which is in undamaged Excellent Plus condition, the poster is superb, with no pin holes or tears and with just a few small age spots.

Beatles White Albums in this condition rarely come onto the market, this one is in above average condition. Guaranteed 100% Original with all Original 1968 inserts.
