This is a first issue -1/-1/-1/-1 stereo Beatles White Album first released on the 22nd November 1968 on Apple Record labels with a top opening, numbered 0361830 gate-fold sleeve with 2 original black inner bags, a 1968 large double sided lyric/picture poster and four 1968 colour prints, one of each Beatles. Side 1 matrix and stampers, YEX 709-1 & 1 G G L. Side 2 matrix and stampers, YEX 710-1 & 34 A A. Side 3 matrix and stampers, YEX 711-1 & 4 L O. Side 4 matrix and stampers, YEX 712-1 & 6 O P.
Both LP's play with stunning sound quality through all tracks without pops, clicks or jumps or background noise with the exception of some light background crackle noticeable on the last track on side 4, Goodnight lasting about 20 seconds.
The record labels and vinyl surfaces are in beautiful Excellent Plus condition with a few play signs on the labels and nothing more than a few surface bag removal hairlines on the vinyl surfaces, definitely no scratches or scuffs.
The top opening numbered, 0361830 gate-fold sleeve is in very nice Excellent to Excellent Plus condition. This is a very nice firm, clean and bright fully laminated sleeve with just very mild age toning and a couple of corner bumps, all edges and spine edge are free of splits and with just some laminate loss on the spine edge.
One of the black inner bags has tears on the front and the other bag is undamaged.
The 1968 poster is in Excellent condition with just light creases but no tears or seam splits, and the four original photographs are in Near Mint condition
