Detailed LP Description:
The TWO ORIGINAL First Issue mono Vinyl LPs are on the traditional DARK GREEN Apple label, all bearing ‘Sold in UK Subject to resale.…’ and ‘Mfd in UK’ label text. All four record labels are printed **WITH** the E.M.I. Recording statement.
ALL Four Record labels are in STUNNING MINT MINUS condition, beautiful clean, undamaged, unworn record labels that look new, with only a couple of light centre spindle holes on each record label.
Matrix/Stamper information:
Disc 1, Side 1 matrix XEX 709-1 & Side 2: XEX 710-1.
Disc 1, Side 1 stampers: 3 GDA & Side 2: 3 LA.
Disc 2, Side 3 matrix: XEX 711-1 & Side 4: XEX 712-1.
Disc 2, Side 3 stampers: 1 OH & Side 4: 2 GGM.
All four sides of the Vinyl Discs are in beautiful Near Mint condition, super clean unmarked well cared for Vinyl surfaces, just beautiful, all that is visible under strong lighting are a couple of insignificant mild surface hairlines.
The two vinyl LPs come in their ORIGINAL Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags, both bags are in very nice Excellent Plus condition, with NO seam splits or tears.
The LPs are housed in it’s original top opening, numbered, gatefold sleeve which is in superb Excellent Plus condition.
This sleeve has a wider than usual spine edge, the sleeve is clean and white with just a little light age toning to the front panel, the reverse panel is also very clean, again with light age toning, the wider spine edge of the sleeve is undamaged and shows a little rubbing to the edge, (see scan) and the printed wording ‘The Beatles, Stereo PCS 7067-8, Mono PMC 7067-8‘ clearly legible, the sleeve is extremely firm, strong and glossy, there are mild signs of record storage to the front and back panels.
The embossed wording ‘The BEATLES’ and the printed number of **0126172** are very clear.The inside of the Gatefold sleeve is in superb Near Mint condition. The opening edges are firm and flat, with tiny bumps to the corners.
There are Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle, plus photograph spacer all of which are in Undamaged condition, no pin holes, tearing or creasing to any of the photographs, just light creases to the photograph spacer.
And an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, in new looking Near Mint condition.
Audio Quality:
As expected BOTH discs play superb through all tracks, with a STRONG, POWERFUL mono sound quality, no clicks, no skips or pops, a perfect sound quality, just superb.
The Beatles White Album original and complete example of one of the most INFLUENTIAL Albums of the 20th Century, this one is in superb condition, complete with all it’s original inserts as issued back in 1968.
