12” LP, USA Apple Label SWBO 101 Stereo. No. 2534417

I bought this LP in the US in 1970 and it has been in my collection ever since.
This is a 1st pressing USA release with a Green Apple disc lables.
Prior to listing the record was cleaned, inspected visually and played to check sound quality using a Technics SL-1210MK2 turntable, a Shure M44-7 cartridge and a TEAC 300 reference system.
The vinyl is in excellent condition. Visually there are no scratch marks on any side. Both disk play well and I cannot hear any surface noise or crackles on any of the tracks.
All 4 labels are in excellent condition and there are no spider marks visible round the centre hole on either side. Both white paper inner covers are in very good condition.
The cover is a double gatefold in thick cardboard, the gatefold has never been opened and is still in the protective shrink wrapping in which it was bought, the shrink wrap is complete, although there is a large tear on the side of the back cover, consequently the cover is in excellent (near mint) condition. The cover also contains a poster with pictures on one side and the words of the album tracks on the other, a picture of each of the Beatles and a sheet of stiff yellow paper to protect these photographs.
