Description
A great opportunity to buy a RARE flexidisc single from the 1960s by The Beatles called "The Beatles Sixth Christmas Record".
This is a U.K. pressing released in December 1968 on the Lyntone label (LYN 1743/4).
Ever since 1963, The Beatles Fan Club issued a free Christmas record to members of the official Beatles Fan Club in the U.K. This is the sixth one and covers both sides of the flexidisc and contains personal messages from the 4 Beatles members to their fans and includes much "messing about".
The flexidisc is in a clean VERY GOOD condition. I have played the whole of both sides and they play fine and sound great. The A-side centre has lost most of the text and the B-side was always just blank.
It should be noted that it plays at 33rpm.
The record is flat and has no warps or creasing.
The paper cover is in a VERY GOOD condition, considering its age. There is the original owner's name written on the top of the back cover.
This is a highly collectable Beatles rarity and should be of interest to avid collectors.
