Description
PMC 7067 on Apple label. 1968 THE BEATLES mono album "The Beatles" (The White Album). The track "ROCKY RACCOON" is spelt this way on the label and the cover.
Matrix numbers, mothers and stampers are: XEX-709-1 A1 over 3 over 3, then a larger 3 GGH, XEX-710-2 3 GGL, XEX-711-1 2 GM and XEX 712--2 3 GMA.
This terrific double album is in very good condition. The vinyl shines absolutely beautifully and has mainly wispy light hairline surface marks. There is one ever so light scratch less than one centimetre long just in from the start on side 1. This results in a slight pop near the end. No skips or jumps and also one ever so light small scratch less than one centimetre near the end of side 4 which also produces a really slight pop. No skips or jumps. The labels show very light spindle marks and have no damage to or around the spindle holes at all. The labels are beautifully clean and have no writing or marks..
The two rough textured black paper inner bags do have some creasing. One has just two very small tears at the bottom of the die cut circle. The other has the same and also just one small one centimetre tear on the top left seam.
The poster is in very good condition. No rips, splits or tears. One crease and light handling marks.
This also has the original white paper divider which you do not often see. This has no tears.
No photos.
The fully laminated TOP OPENING Garrod & Lofthouse gate fold cover with number 0062229 is in excellent condition. No rips, splits or tears. Lovely spine with no crushing. The spine gives the mono and stereo numbers. Lovely opening edges with no fraying. No heavy handling marks. No laminate lifting or peeling. one very VERY light stain on the top right front and corresponding back edge
Great double album.
