Description

THE BEATLES The Beatles (White Album) (Apple PCS 7067/8) RARE UK 2/G 1/G 1st Pressing MINT-
Up for sale is a RARE UK first pressing of The Beatles` eponymously-titled, so-called "White Album" on Apple Records (November 1968).
I will refrain from describing the timeless pop music contained within this album. Suffice to say that the copy on hand is a RARE UK first pressing, released in the early months of 1969 at the very latest. Here are some of the features found within this package:
- Original fully laminated UK top loader gatefold sleeve.
- Flipback-style inner gatefold, "Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse International Ltd."
- Complete with all inserts: Four photos of John, Paul, George and Ringo, as well as the giant tri-fold collage poster.
- Near-perfect cover with embossed "The Beatles" lettering and low serial number 0371272.

GRADING:
MINT(-) COVER, practically perfect. Please see photos for details.
- Original UK first pressing top loader gatefold sleeve, fully laminated.
- Numbered sleeve ("No. 0371272") with "The Beatles" in embossed print.
- A single tiny (2mm) crease to the spine, otherwise this album cover is essentially perfect.
- Includes the four photo portraits of John, Paul, George and Ringo in pristine MINT(-) condition.
- Also includes large full-colour poster in EX+ condition with a few light handling creases.
- Finally, both matt-black Apple Records inner sleeves in EX(+) condition, one of which has a two-inch seam split at bottom.

MINT- RECORDS that have been played two or three times at most. Nothing less than spectacular audio throughout.
- Play-graded as MINT(-) with practically no crackle whatsoever, even in the run or in between tracks. Near-impossible to find like this!
- Both records have two or three of the very faintest hairlines from sleeve removal only. Otherwise, they are simply perfect.
- Original UK first pressing Apple Records labels with a single, near-invisible spindle line on each label.
- The labels state "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists", as UK first-pressing labels should.
- Apple Records label suffixes stating "An E.M.I. Recording", such as those found here, are referred to as so-called second versions.
- Side One matrix stamp: "YEX 709 - 2". Mother and stamper: "2 / G A - M".
- Side Two matrix stamp: "YEX 710 - 1". Mother and stamper: "2 / G M - A".
- Side Three matrix stamp: "YEX 711 - 2". Mother and stamper: "1 / G P - D".
- Side Four matrix stamp: "YEX 712 - 1". Mother and stamper: "2 / G D - H"
- This copy of "The Beatles" is fully certified to be an original UK first pressing, released in the early months of 1969.
