THE BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE x 2 THE BEATLES (WHITE ALBUM)
ALL WITH LABEL OR MATRIX ERRORS AS PER 'GALLERY' PHOTOS

Offered for auction is a 'lot' of THREE Beatles 'mono' vinyl albums, pressed in 1981, all of which have at least one matrix/label error.

The errors are a consequence of carelessness at the U.K. E.M.I. pressing plant, which in 1981 found itself dealing with 'dual audio formats', i.e. Stereo AND Mono, in 'Beatles' records for the first time since 1969.

Stereo (YEX) 'stampers' and 'Stereo' labels were erroneously used for some runs of supposedly MONO LP's.

This auction presents an opportunity for the 'Beatles vinyl' collector to secure THREE examples of these unintended pressings.


The albums are:

YELLOW SUBMARINE (version 1)

STEREO labels on both sides

MONO matrix (i.e. XEX....) Side1

STEREO matrix Side2 (i.e. YEX...)


YELLOW SUBMARINE (version 2)

STEREO labels on both sides

MONO matrices (i.e. XEX...) on both sides


THE BEATLES (aka The White Album)

MONO matrices (i.e. XEX...) and MONO labels on Sides 1 & 2

STEREO matrix (i.e. YEX...) and STEREO label on Side 3

STEREO matrix (i.e. YEX...) and MONO label on Side 4


Please have a look at the supplied pictures in the 'ebay gallery', above, to gauge the condition of the labels.

The vinyl is in EX condition throughout.

The sleeves of the two 'Yellow Submarine' LP's are in EX condition. The sleeve and extra bits of 'The White Album' are in VG+/EX- condition.


SMALL PRINT

The vinyl LP will be shipped outside of the sleeve to eliminate possibility of seam-damage in transit
If postage is less than the amount paid at 'checkout', I will refund the difference. Shipping will be via a trackable 'signature-required on delivery' service. I do not 'under-value' the parcel for Customs/Duty purposes; please don't ask me to do so if my refusal will offend.
