PLEASE NOTE :
A SUPER-RARE BEATLES ITEM!
An original copy of the 1979 limited edition release on Swedish Parlophone label (Cat. No. SD 5937) of "Please Please Me" / "Love Me Do". This record was pressed by Parlophone in conjunction with one of the major Swedish record shops at that time - Julius Platthandel of Lund, Sweden - and was LIMITED TO 1,000 COPIES ONLY, and was available nowhere else in the world, except from the Julius Platthandel shop in Lund, Sweden . It was a promotional item only, and only available from this one source. This arrangement was meant to commemorate the 10 year anniversary since the split of The Beatles. This record was impossible to find even in Sweden in 1979, and is now mega-rare. This copy is in near mint condition, and has the original picture sleeve, which is also near mint, apart from slight ring-wear mark on the reverse side. An extremely rare opportunity to get a real BEATLES collector's piece.
This item is 100% guaranteed to be an original example, and not a copy or counterfeit of any kind.
At the time (1979), I had a contact who was associated with the Julius Platthandel shop, and I was able to get hold of this record at the time - I have been the sole owner ever since. It is unplayed. Lustrous, shiny, as-new condition vinyl.
