THE BEATLES VI 1965 Capitol Early 1st Press MONO IAM T4/P3 ASCAP T2358 EX/VG+

Beatles VI pulls together the leftover strength of 1964's UK sessions — Beatles For Sale outtakes alongside early cuts destined for Help! — into a single US-only Capitol release. "Eight Days A Week" leads it, backed by a cover of "Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey," Buddy Holly's "Words of Love," and George Harrison's "You Like Me Too Much."

This is an original US first pressing on Capitol Records, mono, T-2358.

The lacquer reads T1-2358-T4-G on Side 1 and T2-2358-P3-G on Side 2, hand etched — the first-cut matrix for this title, carried across the earliest run.

Pressed at Capitol's Scranton, PA plant, identified by the "3" cover-fabricator code on the back liner.

Produced by George Martin.

Front cover photo by Fabulous Magazine — Fleetway Publications Ltd., from the same October 1964 Robert Whitaker session that produced the Beatles '65 art.

Black label with rainbow colorband, correct for the original 1965 issue. Side 1 credits "Words of Love" to ASCAP — the first-pressing-only credit, corrected to BMI on all later pressings.

Original Capitol "Teen Set" company inner sleeve, still present.

The back liner carries "(See label for correct playing order)," the pre-song-order text unique to the earliest run before Capitol finalized the track sequence on later liners.
