Beatles VI is the The Beatles' sixth (or seventh, counting The Beatles' Story) American release on Capitol Records, although it was ninth album released into that market in less than one and a half years (Vee-Jay Records and United Artists Records also released albums during that period).Beatles VI includes two tracks recorded specifically for the North American market: "Bad Boy" and "Dizzy Miss Lizzy", both covers of Larry Williams songs, marking perhaps the only time that the Beatles recorded material especially for the U.S. market. "Dizzy Miss Lizzy" was eventually included on the British release of the Help! album, but "Bad Boy" was not released in the U.K. until the 1966 A Collection of Beatles Oldies.

Beatles VI also included:

  • the remaining six tracks left off Beatles '65 from Beatles for Sale
  • "Yes It Is", the B-side to the single "Ticket to Ride"
  • two tracks from the forthcoming British release of Help!: "You Like Me Too Much" and "Tell Me What You See"

 

HERE'S A MONO BEATLES VI IN TOP CONDITION WITH THE MUCH PREFERRED 1ST PRESSING TEXT ON THE REAR COVER (SEE LABEL FOR CORRECT PLAYING ORDER) STILL IN TIGHT, UNTORN SHRINKWRAP, WITH THE IN-STORE PRICE STICKER  STILL ATTACHED. NO SPLITS, MARKS, WRITING ON THE COVER, THE REAR DOSENT SHOW THE TYPICAL YELLOWING AT THE EDGE; SQUARE CORNERS (RIAA#3). THE DISC IS AN EASY MINT- (MY HIGHEST GRADE FOR AN OPENED RECORD), WITH FULL MIRRORY GLOSS. LOOKS PRETTY MUCH LIKE A RECORD PLAYED ONCE OR TWICE, THEN PUT AWAY! ZERO (THAT MEANS NONE) NEEDLE SCRATCHES, AND YOU WOULD PRACTICLY REQUIRE A MICROSCOPE AND A VERY BRIGHT LIGHT TO FIND ANY SCUFFS FROM REMOVING FROM INNERSLEEVE. THERE'S NO WAY ANYONE, EVEN THE PICKIEST COLLECTOR WOULD RETURN THIS ONE FOR DIS-SATISFACTION OF THE VINYL OR COVER CONDITION..  MANY PEOPLE ARE LISTING RECORDS CALLING THEM MINT, AND THAT'S RARELY EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT YOU GET!  STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL OLIVE CAPITOL INNER SLEEVE; FLAT AND STRAIGHT, WITH NO EDGE SPLIT- OUTS; LOOKS NEW
