Up for auction is the extremely rare STEREO version of "The Beatles Vs The Four Seasons", Vee-Jay DSX 30 gatefold cover and double LP set. This auction contains the stereo vinyl pressings of Introducing the Beatles (VJLP 1062) and Golden Hits of the Four Seasons (VJLP 1065). This all original 1964 double LP set is one of the rarest Beatles records to find and from the research I have done, there may have been only 750 of the stereo versions made!
I am not record grader so I will do my best to explain the condition of the album cover & records. The front gatefold cover is split and came apart from the back, the back gatefold cover seam has some splits in it as well but is intact. There are a few small creases in the corners, both sides of the cover still maintain a nice bright color to them, there is no evident ring wear, and the checklist is not marked. The Beatles vinyl album has some minor light scuffs and scratches on both sides, the Four Seasons has some minor light scuffs and scratches on side one, side two has one scratch thats a little deeper on the last track as well as other minor scuffs and scratches. The poster and original sleeves are not included. Overall this is a nice copy of a hard to find album. Please use the photos provided to determine the overall condition for yourself. Please ignore the most recent negative feedback, the buyer was extremely difficult to deal with and when the toy was being packaged, a piece broke off, so issued him a refund and he was upset about it.
