Sleeve: 
The 1st issue sleeve is in Excellent condition, retaining its rigidity and structure. The lamination is tight with no surface creases or laminate lifting, including along the spine which is completely intact with clear title text. The edges are smooth with no shelf wear. The opening edges have minor shelf-wear. The corners are square with a minor amount of small scuffing on right-hand opening side. No tears, no rips or repairs etc. and inner partition intact. There is a hint of record ring-wear on the each side of the inner panels which has formed a feint top arch as shown, the inner panels gleam with un-faded pictorials and the fold-overs are very neat with a hint of surface residue along the seams.  An original numbered sleeve 0328634 engraved and embossed (a low number for Stereo issues - generally thought to have started from the 300,000 mark). 'Stereo' engraved and embossed on rear panel.


Inner Sleeve's: One of them is in Very Good condition as is fully intact but has a couple of small tears to bottom edge and opening edge. One is in Excellent Plus Condition with no defects. Both have fully intact label apertures. Bearing in mind these delicate inner sleeves rarely survive this well, they are probably as good as is likely to be found.

Original Portrait Photo's: Excellent Plus condition glossy thin paper 1st issue types. No defects, other than Harrison and Lennon have a couple of feint indent lines in upper top-left position.

Poster: Original 1st issue poster in Very Good/ Very Good Plus condition. Minor stress to centre- crease folds but fully intact with no other defects or discolouration.

The Vinyl's: In a strong Excellent/ Excellent Plus condition. The vinyl's have retained a jet-black glossy pressing sheen all over both sides and mirror-like shine. Under halogen light with the disc held at various angles it is immediately obvious that the records have received very few plays. There are no warps, no scuffs, no needle drops, no groove wear, no scratches, and even no hairline marks that stand-out. There are several very feint non feel-able hairline traces on Side 1 which only reveal themselves under bright light with the disc held angled and still grades as Excellent. Side 2 has a couple of feint wispy lines that look to be from sleeve removal and is in Excellent to Excellent Plus condition. Sides 3 & 4 look mark free even under close inspection and are Excellent Plus. The surfaces are clean and have retained their original lustre. It would be unlikely to find in better condition. It is Side 1 that looks to have been played a few times, with the rest of the album looking to having received at most a couple of plays.

The Labels: Excellent/ Excellent Plus condition. Side 2 has several centralised feint spindle traces around spindle point, Sides 1 and 3 have one tiny feint spindle line near spindle point, Side 4 has none at all. There is no wear to any of the spindle point perimeters or any marks on the labels etc.

Early Mothers/ Stampers:

1 GH, 3 PL, 3 GDD, 2 OR

No 'An E.M.I Recording' text on any label - this is even rarer to see than on the Mono 1st pressings and further signifies it's early pressing status.

There is no tax code stamped on the label - which is very rare to see!

The stamper on Side 1 also has a letter which is crossed out - very rare to see these errors!

1st issue darker Apple White's!

The Audio: This is an audiophile copy, playing perfectly all of the way through on both sides and I believe it would be extremely unlikely that it could be bettered. The audio is Excellent Plus. Literally only a few static type tics only in the linking groves between a few tracks due to age and one or two detectable on a couple of the more acoustic numbers, but there is no deviation/ distractions over any of the audio whatsoever. Clear and lucid instruments, with no background noise. No detractions such as skipping, jumps, pops, loud tics, or sticks etc.

So all in all a brilliant condition original copy, and another one like this will not come up again in a very long while, if ever.
