THE BEATLES: (THE WHITE ALBUM) – AN ORIGINAL 1968 UK APPLE FIRST ISSUE **NUMBERED STEREO** TWO VINYL LP SET – PCS 7067/8.
A (FADED) Numbered 0325321, ORIGINAL, First Issue, Fully Laminated TOP OPENING, Stereo Gatefold Sleeve.
1. Two original UK Stereo Apple Vinyl LPs.
2. Four original Full Colour glossy photographs , one of each Beatle, plus a rare Protective Photograph Spacer.
3. An original Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse.
4. Two original Black die-cut inner bags.
The two original First Issue Stereo Vinyl LPs are on the traditional dark green Apple label, with ‘Sold in UK Subject to resale.…’ and ‘Mfd in UK’ label text. Sides one & two have the E.M.I. Recording statement.
ALL Four Record labels are in superb Excellent Plus condition, clean, undamaged, unworn record labels, with only signs of a few plays to the centre spindle holes on each of the four record labels.
Matrix/Stamper information:
Disc 1, Side 1 matrix YEX 709-1 & Side 2: YEX 710-2.
Disc 1, Side 1 stampers: 4 HH & Side 2: 2 GMM.
Disc 2, Side 3 matrix: YEX 711-2 & Side 4: YEX 712-1.
Disc 2, Side 3 stampers: 3 GDO & Side 4: 6 MR.
Both Vinyl LPs are in very nice Excellent, condition, with no deep scratches or scuffs, all that is visible are a few light surface hairlines.
The two vinyl LPs come in their ORIGINAL Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags, and are both in Very Good Plus condition, with creases and small seam splits.
The LPs are housed in it’s original top opening, numbered, Gatefold Sleeve which is in Very Good Plus condition, The sleeve shows age toning around the edges and a few rub marks. PLEASE NOTE, the number on the front of the sleeve has faded.
There are 4 original Full Colour Glossy Photographs – one of each Beatle, all of which are in Excellent condition, NO pin holes, NO tearing or creasing to any of the photographs, the photograph spacer has light creases.
And an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, in Very Good Plus condition, there are a couple of small seam splits on the poster.
Audio Quality:
Both LPs play well, no clicks or skips, just mild background noise.
The Beatles White Album original and complete example of one of the most INFLUENTIAL Albums of the 20th Century, this one is in respectable condition, complete with all it’s original 1968 inserts.
