This is a very rare one-off item.
This sale is for disc 1 of White Album, White vinyl 1978 export album. Pressed in UK. I bought this new about 1979/80. I comes in plain black sleeve.
It came from a vinyl remnants shop in East London. I was told it was rejected by the pressing plant due to pressing error and was 'rescued' by an employee to sell on.
The label on the A side is slightly misaligned, you can see the top of some of the letters go right to the edge of the label with no space. Also there is a small flat spot on the outer rim of the vinyl (about 2cm) This is hard to see when stationary but is visible when the disc is spinning. Also it makes the 1st few grooves of the 1st track have a slight crackle in this area (sounds like dirt in groove and may come off with professional cleaning).
Other than this pressing error the disc in in really excellent condition, with no scratches that I am aware of. I has not had many plays and has no spindle wear. It has my initials CK written in pen on side A label (sorry)
