Description

THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM 1968 1ST PRESS - UK NUMBER 0265221 TOP LOADING GATEFOLD SLEEVE (GARROD & LOFTHOUSE)
ORIGINAL FOUR PHOTOS + 2 WHITE SPACERS
ORIGINAL POSTER WITH 'LIPSTICK KISS'
2 X BLACK INNER SLEEVES (ORIGINAL WITH HOLE ON ONE SIDE ONLY)
DARK GREEN APPLE LABLES WITH 'SOLD IN THE UK..'
This is my own copy and has only been played a few times.  When it was played, at the time, I thought the 2 records sounded different but I didn't know why until now - Side 1 & 2 are Stereo and Side 3 & 4 are Mono.
Side 1       PCS 7067      YEX 709-1        6/GDP Side 2       PCS 7067      YEX 710-1        2/GR
Side 3       PMC 7068      XEX 711-4        1/GPM Side 4       PMC 7068      XEX 712-1        2/AH
The photographs and poster are in excellent condition as they have spent all their years in the album cover. There are 2 white spacers, 1 of which has slight creasing.
The original black inner sleeves are in very good condition but with some creasing.
As the records haven't been played very much they are in excellent condition. The vinyl is still shiny and glossy.  There is a light surface scratch on side 4.
The condition of the double album sleeve is very good although there is a small tear at the top right side of the back cover, approx 1 1/2 cms. It has retained it's high gloss and sheen with some age toning.
There is no 'stereo' written on the back cover. Embossed 'Beatles' on the front.
