THE BEATLES 'White Album'
2 LP
ORIGINAL UK MONO PRESSING
RECORD 1 - LABEL : PMC 7067. MATRIX : XEX 709-1, XEX 710-1,
RECORD 2 - LABEL : PMC 7068. MATRIX : XEX 711-1, XEX 712-2
RECORD 2 has "An E.M.I Recording" but RECORD 1 does not for some reason?! The labels are EXACTLY the same apart from that though! Any information on this would be appreciated.
CONDITION :
RECORDS have been played many times and look like it, but play quite well like a VG+ with some slight surface noise crackling away in the background which is obviously more noticable in the quieter parts. The only things that really need pointing out are : 1. a 'pop' and a small 'skip' in "Dear Prudence" and, 2. about five constant prominent 'pops' in "Julia".
SLEEVE is showing wear - generally grubbyness, some discolouring to sleeve (originals were more of a creamy colour), lamintate splitting on the spine, some slight ringwear, etc. A VG- to a VG+ maybe?
There's actually two POSTERS inside. One has been stuck up and has a few tears in it mainly where the creases are, etc. The other is absolutely fine.
The PHOTOS are absolutely fine.
The BLACK INNERS are quite creased and there is some splits in the sides, etc.
This copy is quite a LOW NUMBER at 16105!
