FIRST DAY PRINT 1968!!!

This is a UK Original of the 'White Album' by The Beatles. This press has the top opening sleeve, dark green Apple labels and ''Sold In the UK' label text, Mfd in UK text, black inner sleeves, four photographs and the lyric poster. The records have the early 1/1/1/1 matrix and the earliest 1 mother stamps.

The records are in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl on each side is extremely glossy, these records have only been lightly played, with no whitening of the grooves at all. There are just a couple of very light marks on side 1 and side 4, otherwise the vinyl is superb. The dark green Apple labels are completely clean. The green is exceptionally bold, and the white is bright. The black text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear on either record. On playing the sound is exceptionally vibrant and extremely clear. The voices are rich and sharp and the backing is warm and clear.

The records are complete with their original black inner sleeves. They are a little worn but are still solid and clean.

The photographs are in MINT condition. The colours are vivid and they all have their original just pressed sheen.

The matt double sided poster is in GOOD  condition, some cut in the folder, The colours are bold and the whites are still bright.

The Garrod & Lofthouse top opening laminated sleeve is in Very Good++ condition, the Beatles is EMBOSSED. The laminate has an amazing high gloss and it is completely clean. The white has only slight discolouration, it is still exceptionally bright and the number and Beatles embossed text are sharp and entirely unworn. There are a couple of small edge creases and some corner wear. On opening the inside images and text are superb. The flipbacks are sealed and complete with no discolouration of any kind. The edges are incredibly firm and unworn. The spine is very solid and with little creases.
