NICE NUMBERED SLEEVE # 0358528. VERY RARE COPY OF THIS ICONIC EDITION. NO “EMI RECORDING” WORDING ON LABELS

GENUINE ORIGINAL U.K. STEREO ISSUE WITH TOP OPENING SLEEVE

“SOLD IN THE UK SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LIST” WORDING IS FOUND ACROSS THE TOP PART OF THE LABELS.

NO “EMI RECORDING” WORDING ON LABELS WHICH WOULD MAKE THIS A VERY EARLY PRESS.

RECORD DETAILS

The records have been play tested and are all in VG + condition, you will hear occasional crackling sounds here and there, but not much more, no pops or tics.  Some light hairline marks can be found on the records, but no deep scratches.

All Labels are in EX condition as seen in the photographs, some spindle marks can be seen under light.

SLEEVE DETAILS

The numbered sleeve 0358528 is the iconic top-loading version by Garrod and Lofthouse International Ltd. It is in VG + condition. The embossed “BEATLES” and number are nice and clean. "stereo" appears in small print on the back of the sleeve, top right corner. The sleeve retains its ivory colour and the laminate has remained intact except at the tips where usual usage can be found. Slight thumb crease can be found at the bottom right corner. The spine is in very good condition and the titles remain intact, some creasing towards the centre.

ACCESSORIES

The original black inner sleeves are good condition; there are some rips around the perimeter.

There are no photos with this copy.

The poster has some use and tape residue, not a great issue.

I base my grading on the "RECORD COLLECTOR'S" grading system. The following text is from the "RECORD COLLECTOR" price guide:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,

despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, with out any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
