Hi, I started collecting vinyl Lp's and 45's in 1971, I have 20,000 + which I have moved now 4 times, and about to move again next year. So it's time to let at least half go. Most are in at least Excellent condition.  I can't listen to them all, so most will only have visual grading, any with a high start price, I will listen too, and play grade.

ALBUM INFO:

This is the ORIGINAL UK FIRST PRESS "MONO" BEATLES - THE BEATLES.... In 1968 most people owned Dansette's or the old fashion type of Radio Grams, I don't need to tell you how many Lp's got scratched and ruined by heavy weighted arms and metal needles.  This is the very Rare Early Japanese Numbered press... Original 500,000 were made with the storage opening at the top so few now are left in circulation as they have been squirreled away in collections or worse thrown away, this Japanese copy, I got his records in the 70's. Only STEREO albums were issued in the Japan on day of issue, I believe that only the first 500,000 were press in 68' and then later another 500,000 in STEREO as a numbered second press which I believe  this is one....Both hardly ever turns up in this condition , or any reasonable condition! The Beatles first studio album, in 18 months was released on the 1st December 1968 and now critically acclaimed.... A collectors dream. The cover is in stunning condition, the vinyl pressed by Toshiba Ltd Japan..... and is Excellent+, and you would be hard pushed to find better. (Only 5,000 Pressed per set of pressing plates! this maintains the high sound Quality!!) It also has "Stereo" very small in type on the front top right with EAS-77001-2.  

Well as you can see from the photographs this is a superb copy of The BEATLES 1968 beat album in Very Good condition! THE BEATLES - THE BEATLES ( WHITE ALBUM). PMS 7068 on APPLE. I've played the album on my Pioneer PL- 550X The vinyl lays flat and there are NO warps. The sound is STILL GREAT WITH NO DISTORTION OR JUMPS! there are No flaws or POPS!  A truly wonderful listen. The gatefold cover, has no damage  .  

The album is a masterpiece!!!  placed it at number 10 of all time British Albums by Rolling Stone Magazine. My record has no distortion and sounds clear and loud, STUNNING PLAYBACK an overall enjoyable listen!  The sleeve is laminated without any Major creasing, The Labels have a NO spindle marks. NO WRITING OR MARKS. The Vinyl is Bright and Shiney under strong light a few light withdraw marks which do affect play.  An opportunity to own a Mega Rare true beat classic.

VINYL: 

 EXCELLENT+. The vinyl is still bright and shows VERY LITTLE signs of being played, There are NO deep penetrating scratches, just a few light spindle marks  visible under strong light.  

SLEEVE:

EXCELLENT . (front) Wonderfully clean unlaminated cover, sharp edges and opening no scuffing or rubbing damage, slight storage ring wear, you would be hard push to find better. (Back) White,  somehow it has survived without picking up any staining or writing,  as a lot of albums have owners names in biro on them, they were not cheap at the time at the at the time. Most copies were played to death. This Gatefold Sleeve is in hard to beat condition.   

INNER SLEEVE:

EXCELLENT-. 2 white paper type, unbelievable great condition.  

LABELS:

Clean, no damage or writing.

AUDIO GRADING:

Excellent!! One of the greatest openings of all time, the Jet landing!!! Jo, Jo, was a Man!!! Wonderful, there are so many copies which are played to death, This copy plays with both channels playing without distortion, even pristine looking copies can hide the damage distortion caused by a damaged or blunt stylus. The playback is bright and sharp with a little background crackle here and there, an exceptional playing copy, yes I listened all the way through loved it, the record is so loud in playback it does make you wonder why we started buying CD's... There are NO JUMPS, DISTORTION, OR FREQUENCIES DAMAGE.     

GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

PAYMENT:

Items must be payed for within five days. If non payment within five days, I will then instigate an Ebay ruling. I will set up a dispute and either offer it to the runner up bidder or relist.

PACKAGING: 

I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.
