Description
For auction a great example of 'The Beatles' White Album. Condition is VG+. Vinyls are in VG++ to excellent condition across all 4 sides, some minor surface crackle here and there but certainly nothing that distracts from the wonderful quality of this very early mono recording (see photos 6 & 7). Very rare now to see all 4 original portrait posters of the band members with rice paper dividers and the original song/lyric sheet and collage poster in such VG++ to excellent condition (see photos 8 to 12). Sleeve too is in VG+ condition, laminate is bright and shiny and wholly intact apart from small areas on spine and front edge of back cover (see photos 1 to 5). There is slight sleeve yellowing on front and back but less apparent than on many copies of this vintage. Inside cover is in VG+ to excellent condition. Spine is intact and strong. Corners and edges are square with very minimal scuffing.
Item specifics are:
Double mono album PMC 7068 - XEX 709-1 (stamper code (sc) = 1 OO), XEX 710-1 (sc = 1 RA), XEX 711-1 (sc = 3 TD), XEX712-1 (sc = 4 GDP).
Top opening gatefold sleeve including embossed The Beatles and # 0264621 on front cover (see photo 2).
4 x portrait posters in near mint condition, including 2 x rice paper dividers in excellent condition.
1 x large fold out poster/lyric sheet in VG+ condition
A fine collectable example of the upper end of White Album survivors. Good luck to all who bid.
