The Auction

This was The Beatles 10th album release and their first on their own Apple label. This had 250K  advance orders when released and as far as I know was the first double album to get to the top of the album charts. Each album was individually numbered, this is a very early 1st pressing with the low number of 0008262. This is top opening, with die cut black inners, poster and four photographs. This is the stereo version.

The Beatles - White Album

• Vinyl - The records are in Excellent condition. They have been professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki machine and looks great. No scratches, some non play impacting hairline marks, no  fingerprints, just some light paper scuffing associated with taking the records in and out of the inners. There is some very light background hiss here and there but this does not impact on play, album sounds great throughout. Overall sound quality is Excellent throughout, no pops, crackles, jumps etc. I have listened to the entire album post cleaning.
• Year Released: 1968
• Label: Apple Records - Immaculate Labels
• Stereo  Pressing
• Sleeve - Garrod and Lofthouse Laminated Gatefold flipback sleeve with internal flipbacks. Overall condition is Excellent, no writing on any part of the sleeve. The sleeve is in one piece so that the spine is "wrapped" around rather than he conventional sleeves. There is light fading to the front and rear but it's not too bad. There is a little shelf rub to the base and to the spine, in addition, there is a little wear to the top record entry point. The poster is intact with wear to the creases, the band photographs have some age yellowing to the white edges but are crease and pen free,
