Description
The Beatles double White Album in stereo Cat. No. PCS 7067/8 and matrices:
YEX 709-1 (1,PD)
YEX 710-1 (4,HT)
YEX 711-1 (3,DG)
YEX 712-1 (6,RM)
Poster and photos are missing from this album.
Top loading with black inner sleeves and no text on labels of 'an EMI recording'. Inner gatefold flipbacks.
Both records are in VG+ condition. Visually there are surface marks and hairline scratches visible under bright halogens but nothing major or that affects the lovely sound quality which is excellent. There are definite clicks for the last 10 seconds of Dear Prudence but the music plays through these without faltering. Some light crackle during quieter moments and on the run ins but nothing that detracts from the music. The vinyl is beautifully glossy with no dull areas. Labels 2 & 4 have the name Bill written lightly in pen but are otherwise undamaged.
Outer gatefold sleeve is excellent with no damage - no tears, splits or scuffing. Some light ringmarks from storage and slight dinks on the opening edges where the records have been pulled in and out.
Inner black sleeves are fully intact and but a little tatty - some creasing, small tears on the opening edges and a split in one sleeve at the base.
I grade all my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.
The record is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
